Mule Drawn Carriage Rides – Enjoy the holiday spirit with an old-fashioned mule drawn carriage ride through our nursery fields.  FREE!

UPDATE (12.8.18 @ 1:40pm): The mule team is here and we are back in business!

MULE TEAM / CARRIAGE RIDE UPDATE (12.8.18 @ 11:15am):
One of the mules has an injured hoof. We will be running two tractor rides until a back up mule team arrives. We apologize for the last minute notice but the Mule didn't tell us her foot was bothering her until we started getting set up this morning.

A Message from Matt Zerby, owner of Wasco Nursery & Garden Center (12.7.18 @ 12:03pm):

We're so glad that you've expressed interest in attending our Mule Drawn Carriage Rides. I wanted to get some information to you so that you all know what to expect tomorrow. Please take a moment to read through the following:

1.) We are expecting big crowds tomorrow, so plan on waiting a bit. We will have the greenhouses heated for people to hang out in while waiting for their turn.

2.) We will have hot cocoa, coffee, popcorn, etc. for purchase. All food and drink items are $1 each. Please bring cash for food / drink purchases.

3.) The carriage rides will be running from 12:00pm to 4:00pm. We hope to accommodate everyone, but this is a FIRST COME FIRST SERVE event. We apologize in advance if time / darkness prevents us from getting to everyone.

4.) Each ride will take about 10 minutes. We will be running our tractor and hay wagon to help with any backups (to minimize wait times). If you prefer to wait for the carriage ride please let our staff know.

5.) Dress for the weather. Feel free to bring a cozy blanket to throw over your lap while you're on your ride.

6.) If you aren't able to attend tomorrow (Saturday, December 8th) the mule team will be down the street with our friends @ Luau Coffee on Sunday, December 9th giving carriage rides from 12:00pm-5:00pm for their Holiday Open House.  (40W450 IL Route 64 Saint Charles, IL 60175)

Happy Holidays,

Matt Zerby and the entire Wasco Team
