Scared to death of your pruners? Has your spouse taken away all of your saws? Not sure what to trim and when? Join Matt Zerby, president of Wasco Nursery, as he teaches the ins and outs of pruning trees, shrubs and more. He’ll show you the proper equipment, techniques, handy tips on WHEN to prune, how to put the garden to bed, and more. Pruning is not as hard as it seems so let our owner, Matt Zerby, educate you on the proper way to prune and you’ll be more confident in the garden.

There is a $10 reservation fee, and it can be applied toward any purchases made on the same day as the seminar.


Paint a Pot for Kids - Mon. Feb. 18th from 10:00am - 1:00 pm:

On President's Day, a day off of school, join us for a little bit of crafting and planting.

Leave the mess with us! Join us for a fun painting session. We will provide the pots, paints, and brushes to get creative with! When the paint has dried, you can plant up the pot with soil and a few seeds.

Come as you will, go as you must. This activity should take about 30-45 mins.

We can’t forget about the “stuff” plants grow in so we’ll show you how to get your soil prepared and ready for planting.
