Spider Plant (Chlorophytum comosum) is a very easy to care for and propagate houseplant. It has very large roots which store water, allowing it to tolerate neglect and poor watering habits. Spider Plant is also known to be effective at cleaning indoor air through absorbing carbon monoxide and other harmful chemicals.
Spider Plant produce plantlets (baby plants) by forming long shoots with a smaller spider plant towards the end.
Light: Bright to moderate indirect light
Soil: Well drained potting mix. Will need to be repotted about every other year.
Water: In the hotter months (spring and summer) keep the soil moist, do not let the soil dry out too much
