ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) is an easy to grow, low-light plant and is one of Matt’s top recommendations for those who are new to houseplants. It helps to purify the air and provides oxygen, even in low-light environments. ZZ Plant is very forgiving when it comes to not being watered. Make sure to allow the soil to completely dry out between watering to avoid root rot.
Light: Low-Light, far corners away from southern, western or any bright windows.
Soil: Well drained potting mix.
Water: Water every 10-14 days, allow soil to completely dry between watering. Do not overwater.
Pests: Not many to worry about.
